Moving to Chicago was tough for me as a photographer because all my clients were back in D.C. and I didn’t know where to start here! Luckily, I found Julianys who is a natural in front of a camera. She is so much fun to work with! We went to one of my favorite coffee shops in the area and I styled her with my favorite pieces from Urban Vogue (site | store | ig) — and it turned into a perfect vintage photoshoot!

I have zero words to express how amazing Utah was. My friends and I went and explored Zion, Bryan Head, Canyon Lands, Salt Lake City, and Arches for 8 days and it was an unbelievable experience. The pictures don’t do the views justice, but I tried.
My body feels like it was body slammed against a wall, but now walking up the stairs is a piece of cake! My favorite out of all the places has got to be Zion, Angel’s Landing Hike. I felt like I was going to die the entire time, but the views at the top were phenomenal. Too bad my camera died halfway going up there… That just means I have motivation to hike it again. If you’re not sure what Angel’s Landing is — youtube it & you’ll get a good sense of why it was the most rewarding.
Anyway, enjoy the pictures—

I <3 NY - What an amazing experience in New York for the past couple of days! We hit all of the pop-ups, stardust diner, drunk shakespeare, etc. etc. But of course ya’ll know that my favorite part was the mini-photoshoots we had around the city. One challenge I especially had was forgetting my 35mm 1.8 at home….. and so the only lens I had was 16-35mm f/4…. GAH the apertures….. it was a good challenge to say the least. But without further ado…
